NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE WINERY TOUR FROM TORONTO ▼

Recognized for its lush agricultural land, Niagara-on-the-Lake produces some of the world’s finest wines. This tour is a unique opportunity to visit several of the region’s well-known wineries as part of a small group limited to just 14 guests.

We’ll pick you up at your Toronto hotel and travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our first stop will be Stratus Winery where you’ll enjoy a comparative “flight” of four wines. Flights are enjoyed in the Stratus Tasting Room while the passionate team fulfill your wine curiosity and share the Stratus story with you.

Next, we’ll visit Inniskillin Winery, where you’ll enjoy a sample of Icewine varietals. As Canada’s original estate winery, Inniskillin is an industry pioneer committed to the production of premium wines made from quality grapes grown in Canada for over 35 years.

After Inniskillen, enjoy lunch (on your own) and leisure time in Niagara-on-the-Lake, considered one of Canada’s prettiest towns. Explore the town’s quaint shops and cafes or enjoy the view from Queen’s Royal Park.

From Niagara-on-the-Lake, we’ll travel to Peller Estates for a guided winery tour. Your wine consultant-led tour begins in the Celebration Lounge with one of Peller’s most awarded wines, Ice Cuvée, as you hear the legacy of the Peller family and history of the winery and the region. With glass in hand you’ll make your way to the Estate vineyard as your consultant dives into the unique growing region that is the Niagara Escarpment and the abundant soil and growing conditions that contribute to the unique characteristics of Peller’s award-winning wines.

Next, descend into the underground Barrel Cellar where you’ll savour another tasting of wines standing among 300 wine barrels. Move from the premium cellar into Niagara's only igloo-like lounge as you don a Peller Estates parka and step into the winery ice bar. The Peller 10Below Icewine Lounge is constructed out of a mammoth 13,607 kilos of ice and kept at a frosty 10º below zero; the ideal temperature for harvesting Icewine grapes, and for sampling Peller’s liquid gold! Finish your experience in the beautifully designed winery boutique. This is truly an unforgettable winery experience from start to finish!

The final stop on the tour will be a wine tasting at Two Sisters Vineyard Tasting Boutique before returning to Toronto. Drop-off is provided at your Toronto hotel.
