ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The landscape of hepatology nursing is changing since the tremendous advancement of hepatitis C treatment. The focus areas of clinical nursing practice have since been expanded beyond viral hepatitis albeit hepatitis C continues to receive international attention for its elimination strategies across the globe. CAHN is proud to host this special nurse summit to bring liver nurses together with the following main objectives: 

  • Discuss the most up-to-date clinical nursing practices in the management of patients with various types of liver disease
  • Share perspectives from nurses around the globe on practice issues
  • Examine and discuss the future of hepatology nursing

Abstracts are invited. The 2 top scored abstracts will be given the opportunity to present orally. All submitted abstracts will be posted during the Summit.

Abstract submission deadline is April 15th 2018.

All attendees are invited to attend a free breakfast session** on Friday June 15th at 07:00-09:00. The session theme is “Global hepatology nurse network opportunity”.

** Attendance at the Friday June 15th breakfast session is mandatory for CAHN members in order to have travel expense reimbursed by CAHN.
